Out at Buffalo Springs Lake, prices are climbing even higher than here in the city, but, lake visitors seem more than willing to pay the price. Terry Akin just opened the Krustie Krab Marina at the lake. He said, its the first time in 3 years that patrons have been able to pump their gas right on the water. Although hes already up to $3.94 per gallon, he says the convenience of filling up without hauling your boat out of the lake is worth every extra penny. Says Akin, "Theyre absolutely elated that we finally have gas out here. The price really hasnt been a factor. It just keeps going up, and most of the time when they pull up here in a boat or a jet ski, they dont ask the price, they just ask how they can get the pump turned on."
