A convicted murderer, released earlier this week, is back behind bars on Friday night. Earlier this week, KAMC 28 brought you the story about Pablo Soto. He was convicted of the beating death of his ex-girlfriend Socorro Storie back in 2005. He received a 30 year sentence, but after serving only 6 months, the parole board granted him a medical release. It was believed he has only 12 weeks to live, but in fact, Sotos doctors say he has about 12 months to live, and the parole board made an error. Garza County officials arrested Soto and he was taken back to prison in Houston. "When he was out it was just like reopening all these wounds back again," says Stories daughter Cruz Loya. "You know were never gonna forget what happened and how it happened, but we learn to cope with it and go on with our lives, one day at a time is what we take now."
