DISTRICT2RACE-VO2008-06-02-1212458415.jpgCouncilman Floyd Price filed ethical claims against his opponent Armando Gonzales this weekend. Price says Gonzales's campaign van is owned by Ted Parker, a man that the FBI is investigating in relation to the AAG Insurance/City of Lubbock Scandal. The problem is not the van itself, however. The problem ,Price says, is that it is not reported in any of Gonzales's campaign reports.

By law, candidates are required to report any donations or loans. When asked about the van, Gonzales said that the fact that it is owned by Ted Parker is news to him, and Price is making personnel attacks. KLBK followed up with Gonzales's campaign Treasurer, Anthony Carter, and he said he had no idea who the van belonged to.

After looking through Gonzales's campaign donations, there is no mention of a van anywhere.
