A suspicious salesperson is causing some concern around Lubbock.  An ex-con with a history of violence has been selling makeup and cleaning supplies door-to-door and now an e-mail is circulating telling women to beware.  However, it turns out this man isn't breaking any laws.

He has all the necessary permits, but Lubbock police are still saying to be careful.  Cpl. Mark Long with the LPD says, "You just need to be aware. He has not been convicted of any type of sex offense.  You just need to be aware and of course, you need to be aware of anybody that comes to your door that you do not know, whether it be a salesman or anything."
