Fridays wreck is the sixth fatality involving a motorcyclist just this year. To avoid any more accidents like this, its important to be aware of not only fellow car drivers on the road, but also motorcycle riders. Spring and summer are the most popular seasons when it comes to buying a bike. The hot weather really entices people to get out and ride. Now more than ever, safety should be a big concern for drivers and bikers. Harley-rider Howard Smith bought his first bike in 1953 and says wearing a helmet and being aware of the cars around you will greatly improve a bikers chances of not getting in a wreck. "Its dangerous. You have to ride at your own pace, pay attention to what the other people are gonna do because thats the ones you have to watch out for," says Smith. Its important for car drivers to be attentive too. When you see a motorcycle on the road, treat them with the same respect you give to someone driving a car.
