The Texas Tech women’s basketball program announced its 2007-08 non-conference schedule today. Head coach Kristy Curry and the Lady Raiders will open the season by playing in the UCF Tournament in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 9-10.

Tech’s non-conference schedule includes nine home games and five road contests. Along with the opening tournament in Orlando, the Lady Raiders will play in Las Vegas, Pullman, Wash., and Fayetteville, Ark.

At the UCF Tournament, Tech will face host UCF on Nov. 9, and then Northeastern on Nov. 10. The Lady Raiders play IPFW (Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne) in their home opener on Nov. 13, before hitting the road again for Las Vegas to play UNLV on Nov. 17.

There will be two games each of those three days, with the Lady Raiders playing one game each day. The tournament schedule is still to be announced.

Next Tech will host Sam Houston State on Nov. 27 and will travel to Washington State on Dec. 1.
