4THPREPS-VO52008-07-03-1215136202.jpgFolks are busy right now preparing the booths and stages for this year's Fourth on Broadway festival.

The celebration actually kicks off at 6:00 with a street dance in front of the Lubbock County Courthouse.

If you're driving that way, keep in mind, two lanes on Broadway are already closed off so vendors and organizers can finish their last minute preparations.

Event chairman Gary Mitchel says he expects another big turnout.  "This is Texas' largest free festival and it doesn't cost you a dime to come down here and enjoy the parade tomorrow.  Then to go out with an evening concert with Mac Davis and Richie McDonald that headline that show, and its all free, it doesnt cost you a thing."
