Cooper Follows 2005 Team's Lead

For more information, click "WATCH"The shadow cast from the 2005 Cooper Pirate baseball team may be big, but this year's team is trying to live up to the expectations. The Pirates are now just one series win away from their second trip to the state tournament in the last three years; the 2005 team being the last to go. They will open up their regional final series with top-ranked Abilene Wylie Thursday from Citibank Ballpark in Midland with games two and three to follow on Saturday.
