Two Texas Tech professors are playing a big role in dismantling the last of Saddam Husseins nuclear program. Professors Ron Chesser and Carl Philipps first went to the Ukraine to give Iraqi scientists hands-on training in nuclear safety procedures.
The training took place in an abandoned city near Chernobyl, where a nuclear reactor exploded back in 1986. They then traveled to Baghdad with the Iraqi team to take part in cleaning up radioactive debris in a former nuclear complex.
