ABILENE, Texas: The Roosevelt Eagles entered unfamiliar territory today when they opened their Regional Finals series against Blanco today. Roosevelt held on early in Game 1, but Blanco pulled away in the end, winning the game by a final score of 10-2. No Roosevelt baseball team has ever made it this far in the playoffs and if the Eagles want to continue their historic playoff run, they'll have to win game 2, which is set to be played at Hunter Field in Abilene at 11 a.m. tomorrow.
