IPHONEpkg2008-07-11-1215827304.jpgApple unveils its newest edition of the iPhone Friday and customers in Lubbock are scrambling to be the first to get this gadget. A few hours before the store opened, employees noticed close to 70 people lining up at the AT&T store on 82nd Street. AT&T employees say this years crowd of campers was just as big as last years. With this new iPhone, you can expect to pay half the price and get twice the speed compared to last years version. "Everybody was excited. Everybody was excited about the phone. We were exchanging information like who knew what and who didnt about what they were even in line to buy," says Lisa Hill, a first-time iPhone buyer. If youre interested in getting your hands on the latest trend from Apple, expect to pay about $200 for one of the iPhones. Youll also need to sign a two-year contract with AT&T for phone service.
