Thursday night, a woman was approached by a man at the Town and Country gas station on 19th and Avenue O.

The man forced her in to a car, tased her with a stun gun and hand cuffed her. He then attempted to rape the woman but she was able to get free and called for help.

This is the second incident where a woman has been abducted and tased in less than a week.

The first incident was in the early morning hours of July 3.  That woman was also able to get free before being raped.

Both victims have described their attacker as a Hispanic male with short dark hair, roughly six feet tall and 200 lbs.  He is said to drive a white SUV, possibly a Tahoe or Suburban.

Theses attacks are similar to a rash of unsolved attacks back in 2006 that also involved a man attacking women with a stun gun in the same area.

Police say they are not ready to say these attacks are related to the 2006 attacks.
