'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season One DVD Offers Explosive Extras

The first season of "NCIS: Los Angeles" is out on DVD this week and features even more action and face-time from LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell.

The extras reveal what really goes on behind-the-scenes of the explosive CBS series.

LL and O'Donnell play special op agents who keep terrorists at bay in the "NCIS" spin-off show. The unlikely pair seems to be able to laugh at one another. LL says, "A lot of jokes being cracked back and forth. He teases me about my bald head. I tease him about his widow's peak."

Could doctors have caught Michael's throat tumor sooner? Catherine tells People magazine, on stands Friday, "It makes me furious they didn't detect it earlier. He sought every option and nothing was found."

On Michael's brave appearance on "Late Show with David Letterman" earlier this week, the Oscar winner said that he went through "a litany of doctors and tests" earlier in the summer for what originated as a sore throat and "they didn't find anything."

David Letterman's Extortionist Gets Early Release from Jail

TV producer Robert Halderman, 51, was released from prison today after serving only four months of his six-month sentence for attempting to extort David Letterman out of $2 million.

Halderman was released on good behavior from Rikers Island in New York, and has been ordered to do 1,000 hours of community service and is on probation for five years.

"He's doing okay," Halderman's lawyer told People.com. "He was fine and expressed appreciation and he is glad it is behind him and that he survived it well and he's looking for work. He's a talented producer."

The film features the vocal talents of such stars as Abbie Cornish, Anthony LaPaglia, Helen Mirren, Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush and Hugo Weaving.
